Rhuarc’s Pets Supplies is an independently owned and operated pet store providing good old fashioned service! We have a friendly, experienced and knowledgeable team who all enjoy assisting pet owners in any way they can. We have a wide range of popular foods and products for your entire pet’s requirements, including but not limited to; dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, reptiles and yes small animals too!
Pop in for a chat and happily browse through our stock, if we do not have what you are looking for; then we encourage you to ask! Our store is conveniently located on Melbourne Road Newport within easy reach of the train station and the inner western suburbs. There is plenty of parking in front of the shop or nearby and adjacent to Melbourne Road.
Mairi is the bright and bubbly leader of her team at Rhuarc’s; she is an experienced dog, cat and fish owner who is always happy to help anyone requiring advice. She has a broad equine knowledge too after spending many years breeding, racing and showing horses. Mairi is a committed supporter of ‘Oscar’s Law’ and animal welfare. She also has a continuing focus and understanding on all complementary therapies, so why not ask her about your pet’s needs.
Hector is Mairi’s husband and general all-rounder at Rhuarc’s. He has great product knowledge and a passion for helping customers achieve the very best for their pets.
